![]() ![]() Hit up the link to the ARK: Survival Evolved Steam page for more information. 90 of my dino deaths are the result of MY inability to make a dinosaur effectively STOP attackING something or know when to. But my triceratops still get stuck between two tiny trees.Seriously, they announced something about this Since i began to play i always lost some dinosaur cause this. I saw they added some new things, like when a dinosaur is bad injured it tries to flee. (thats where the limit is mostly) ai have to mess with the density. I stopped played last year and recently came back. The developer notes the process "cannot be accomplished with minimal effort," as the dangers which exist in the ARK could have a detrimental effect on your little dino sprogs. the ai coding is far from terrible, the matter is the prefab density and the z axis orient of the prefab. Players will be able to selectively breed for "desired qualities" and progressively raise generations of Dinosaurs with more "refined collections of high-end traits than that which could ever be found in the wild." ![]() Whilst the huge muti species brawls that result are fun to watch, it's also a bit silly at times. Right now it's a bit of a trainwreck with multiple species running rampant everywhere with little sense made of it all. "Your new tiny friends will grow dynamically in real time and will need to be cared for to reach their ultimate potential." Just curious if there are plans to update dino AI at some point. "This results in offspring with a random selection of traits from both parents, along with a degree of arbitrary mutation. "Survivors will be given the opportunity to pair two members of the same species together, even across Tribes if you’ve got a particularly well endowed creature," reads the update. I know some would disagree but id rather they focus their dinosaur time on nailing the animations for the plenty that are in game, instead of adding a dino every monday, wednesday, and friday. That's a bad joke obviously, but yes you can breed baby dinosaurs. Just curious if there are plans to update dino AI at some point. ARK: Survival Evolved players can now breed dinosaurs, which means they will have little ones running around they can take pictures of and shove in the faces of people who don't care that your kid is cute. ![]()
